Another jam-packed day here in utopia with projects, objectives and goals and limited time so time must be parceled out and used to maximum efficiency.
Someone ‘reached out’ and axed if President’s day was going to be observed on the New calendar. I am thinking yes but the ‘observation’ will be tempered.
TEMPERED? THAT BEGS SOME EXPLANATION.

If that person read the last paragraph of Mondays entry, they would have had a clue. If they read it, and forgot OR did not comprehend, all the same they DIDN’T get it and are still clueless.
Adults would have the option to goof off or engage in leisure activity(ies) as they deserve it. ALL banks and government offices WILL BE open and doing business as normal. ALL SCHOOLS will have a day curriculum described in F17.20 depending and age appropriate to the little buggers studies.
None of this ‘day off’ to play in the streets, break windows and vandalize property.
AND all True Citizens shall fly their flags. American Flags.
As far as project progress goes, Watching the shore series .2 is furthest along however it seems more work is being done on .3 and .4. I worked on the two sizes of gulls, the sky and the beach PLUS on Wednesday made arrangements to have the last large piece cut up into three pieces to realize an economy of scale. On pondering and reflecting, I realized I could get two (2) 12x24 and one (1) 24x48 out of the 36x48 remaining sheet. This doubles the ROI AND would allow me to use the SAME size patterns for the gulls eliminating the need to do all the recalculations including the proportions for laying out the paintings. It really is a huge discovery and monumental decision.
