15 S 19

This is your Captain and we are third in line for takeoff flight 4901 Houston to McK. Flight time will be anywhere between 3 and four (4) hours depending on stops, the wind and traffic. It’s Sunday morning so we are expecting a quick and quiet ride. The stewardesses will be pushing the pleasure cart thru the cabin as soon as we reach altitude so relax and enjoy the flight.

‘Crew complete cross-check.’

SO HOW WAS THE SHOW ?

The BEST show ever.

DETAILS POR FAVOR?

Certainly.

  1. The Venue was just perfect. One could not dream or design a more suitable layout or floor plan for such a show. There was a 'natural seating' feature back across from the tent that was at least partially shaded most of the day and by late afternoon total shade. Very cool. There was a trendy upscale bar/restaurant that was VERY EASY to slip off toboth into and out of. FB snagged a corner table for super-easy access so we took turns at the tent/booth/tabels and taking on adult liquid refreshments.

  2. The Weather was warm and humid however not oppressive remembering where we are and what time of the season we are in.

  3. The Crowd was THEE best. There was a nice steady stream and many were totally and 100% engaging. The cali xplants were easy to spot and aloof, detached and stuck up but the locals and us-in-the-know just ignored them, let them go and watched with amusement as they walked into a tree(s), fire hydrants or other immovable objects. The other serious patrons had great senses of humor and we carried on ALL DAY long. Some even spent some money.

  4. SUMMARY and CONCLUSION: Most def a regular stop for twice (2x) per year. Were this vehicle a fishing show, the locale could be termed a 'honey hole.'

Yes so when I get home must, MUST, MUST send a Thank you card with note to Market Street how well-run and fun the Fall Festival was and would be pleased, proud and thrilled to participate in an event again.

So more later. Must shower and clean up for launch.
